    Funeral services for Kenneth Ray Rivers, 78, of Zwolle were held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bobby Simmons and the Rev. Claude Weatherford officiated. Interment followed in Bayou Scie Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 5-9 p.m. Kenneth was born on February 12, 1936 in Zwolle. He entered into eternal rest on March 8, 2014 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil E. Rivers and Mary Ann Roberson Rivers; brother Robert Dale Rivers; sisters Nelda Jean Stevens and Virginia Ann Nash. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Regina Rivers; daughters, Anita Bostain and husband, Randy, Christy Bridges and husband, Gary, Sondra Anderson and husband, Todd; brother, Paul Loye Rivers; sisters, Evelyn Joy Champion, Linda Gayle Crittenden, Carrie Alice Martinez; grandchildren, Jimmy Remedies, Jr., Dustin Remedies, Cassi Remedies, Gary Bridges, Jr., Jerad Bridges, Joanie Faircloth, John Faircloth, Jr., Shane Anderson, Jessica Anderson; 20 greatgrandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Honoring him as pallbearers were Jimmy Remedies, Jr., Dustin Remedies, Gary Bridges, Jr., Jerad Bridges, John Faircloth, Jr., Tyler Winkle, Gerald “Buddy” Whittington, and Troy Brown.
