Funeral services for Alan Dillard, 56, of Many, were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill in Pleasant Hill with the Rev. Pat Cobbs and the Rev. Vernon Stephenson officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. Visitation was held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill in Pleasant Hill. Alan Dillard was born on Sunday, May 12, 1957, in Converse. He passed away on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2014, at his residence in Many. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Lois Johnson; paternal grandparents, Hoyt and Wade Dillard; four first cousins, Sonny Dillard, Kim Weldon, Bubba Johnson and Sissy Ligon; aunt, Yvonne Rogers; and uncles, Glynn Johnson, Trentice Johnson and Hollis Harris. He is survived by his daughter, Jade, and husband, Brennon LaCombe, of Denham Springs; son, Ben, and wife, Amy Dillard, of Zwolle and daughter, Tessa Dillard, of Marksville; parents, Harold and Emily Dillard, of Pleasant Hill; one brother, Harold Johnson Dillard, of Pleasant Hill; seven grandchildren, Xavier, Diego,and Damian LaCombe of Denham Springs; Bailey Dillard of Zwolle; Kayne, Kollen and Khloe of Marksville; two nephews, Amos Dillard, and wife, Stacey, of Many, and Aaron Dillard and friend, Kim,of Negreet; one niece, Breanna Green, and husband, Brandon of Pleasant Hill; one great niece, Kami Self, of Many; three great nephews, Blayne Dillard, of Many and Noah and Tristan Green of Pleasant Hill; two special aunts, Linda Scaife of Many and Peggy Weldon of Texas; three uncles, Benton Johnson of Pleasant Hill; Lloyd Johnson of Texas and Wendell Dillard of Texas and lots of cousins and friends. Pallbearers were Johnson Dillard,
Amos Dillard, Aaron Dillard, Brennon LaCombe, Xavier La- Combe, Ben Dillard, Jeff Harris and Pete Sattler. Honorary pallbearers will be Blayne Dillard, Noah Green, Diego LaCombe, Rocky Messick, Reggie White, Tristan Green, Damian
