Funeral services for Hazel G. Crouch, 82, of Hallsville, Texas, were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, in
the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, Texas, with the Rev. Laney Pearson officiating. Burial followed in Rosewood Park. Mrs. Crouch passed away Saturday night at her home in Hallsville. The family received friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Hazel was born on June 19, 1931, near Many to John H. and Minnie V. Lovelady. She was married on March 20, 1954, to J.D. Crouch. She worked for many years at the original “Skeeter” Boat plant in Longview and worked for LISD transportation before retiring. She was a loving housewife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Crouch in 1990, and her son, Billy Royce Crouch, in 2002. Those left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter- in-law, Jay Daryl and Joyce Crouch of Hallsville, Texas; grandsons, Richard Cody Crouch of Hallsville, Texas; William Thomas George and wife, Courtney of Longview, Texas; granddaughters Rachel Dickerson of Arizona, Allyson Herrera of Longview, Texas, and Haley Smith of Longview, Texas; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other family members to remember her.
