Gwenona F. McDonald

Graveside services for Gwenona F. McDonald, 86, of Many, were held on at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, in Fender Cemetery on Hwy. 6. Officiating was the Rev. Glen Howard. Mrs. McDonald was born in Kurthwood on July 7, 1927. She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at the Sabine Retirement Center. Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Iola Thibodeaux; two brothers, Garland and Ronald Thibodeaux; husband, R. B. Mc- Donald; son, Robert P. McDonald, and daughter, Virginia Coryell. She is survived by a son, Jimmy G. Duraso & wife,  Brenda, Belmont; daughter, Robbie Emmels, of Many; 13 grandchildren, Pat Emmels, Sonya Powell, Tammy Duraso,  Jimmy G. Duraso, Jr., Monica Akins, Kristen McConnell, Katrina York, Gina Emmels, Jennifer Sims, Mieke Moore, Robert McDonald, Bridget McDonald and Kenny Wayne McDonald, 30 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
