Betty Lou Pruitt Jordan of Robeline, daughter of Sam and Maggie Pruitt, was called to her heavenly home after a lengthy
illness on Feb. 7, 2014 at Sabine Medical Center. Services celebrating her life were held on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 at Apostolic Truth Tabernacle Church at 2 p.m. in Robeline. The Rev. Jody Farrell officiated. Interment followed in Lambertown Cemetery. Betty Lou affectionately known by everyone as “Granny” was a homemaker who loved to fish and watch football. She loved to go to garage sales and spend time with her family. She  was very much loved and will be
missed by many. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Raymond Jordan; two sons, Ruben and Tony Jordan; daughter, Patricia Faye O’Con; four sisters and two brothers. She is survived by three sons, Cecil Jordan and companion
Amanda of Robeline, Kenneth Jordan and wife, Connie of Noble, Curtis Jordan and wife, Sherry of Marthaville; two daughters, Sandra Remedis and husband, Jerry Glen of Converse, and Lisa Ezernack and husband, Donnie of Zwolle; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren with two more bundles of joy on the way; sister, Rita Broadway of Rocky Mount; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Honoring her as pallbearers were Cecil Jordan, Kenneth Jordan, Curtis Jordan, Derek Jordan, Richie Jordan, Tony Jordan. Honorary pallbearers were Eric Bridges, Tommy Bridges, Donnie Ezernack.
The family would like to thank Toledo Retirement and Rehab and Sabine Medical Center for the care of their loved one.
