Eugene Alfred Dahlem of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 81. He was born on July 5, 1945, in Altus, Arkansas, to Alfred R. Dahlem and Jackie Edelhuber Dahlem.
He was a Wildlife Biologist for the Federal Government and was a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and of the Knights of Columbus.
His parents, Alfred R. Dahlem and Jackie Edelhuber Dahlem; sister, Mary Callaway; and brother, Mike Dahlem, precede him in death.
He was survived by his wife, Janette (Janie) Hilton Dahlem of the home; sons, Eugene F. (Natalie) Dahlem and Brian Dahlem; brothers, Bob Dahlem of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Fred Dahlem of Florien, Louisiana, Tom Dahlem of Florien, Louisiana, and Jerry Dahlem of Denver, Colorado; and his sister, Kathy Leding of Springdale, Arkansas.
Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. with Funeral Mass following at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, July 27, 2026, at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Clarksville, Arkansas, with Father Andrew Hart officiating.
