    Funeral services honoring the life of Alvin McDonald, 59, were held March 31 at San Patricio in Converse with the Rev. Danny Asbell officiating. Burial followed at Cassell Cemetery in Converse. Alvin was born on July 15, 1956 in Converse to Joseph and Ruby McDonald and passed away on March 27, 2016 with his family by his side. He loved the outdoors, loved going to chur chand spending time with his family. Proceeding him in death were his wife, Mary McDonald; father, Joseph McDonald; son, Nathan McDonald; grandson, Jonathon McDonald; brother, Joseph McDonald; niece, Wendy McDonald and sister-in-law, Renee Leggett. He is survived by his mother, Ruby McDonald; sons, Calvin John McDonald and wife, Jaclynn, and Jedidiah McDonald and wife, Marsha; daughter, Patrichia Dawn Roe and husband, Doyle; sister, Patricia Lampley and husband, Larry; brothers, Calvin McDonald and wife, Tammy, James Mcdonald and wife, Felicia, Douglas McDonald and wife, Sandra, David McDonald and wife, Patricia and Johnny Leggett; grandchildren, James Allen McDonald, Jonathan Allen, Jamie Allen, Morgan Allen, Antonio Bautista “AJ”, Marcia Lynette McDonald, William Sylvester, Paul McDonald, Madalyn MaKae McDonald, Doyle Zachary Roe, Jacob Harold Roe, Caylie Caycie Roe, Hannah Jewel Gabrielle Roe, and Alvin Cory Roe; nieces and nephews, Larry Paul Lampley, Sandy Reynolds, Amanda Fox Wade McDonald, Danny McDonald Damian McDonald, Cynthia McDonald, Jason McDonald, Christy Kirby, Tiffney Ebarb and husband, Jeffrey, Ashley McDonald, and Brandi McDonald.
