Lena Thibodeaux

Lena Elizabeth Mora Thibodeaux was born July 22, 1939 in Sabine Parish to Letha Inez Sharbeno and Lonnie Ervin Mora. She entered into rest on June 25, 2019 in Shreveport.

Funeral services celebrating her life were conducted by Brother Jimmie Glover June 28 at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Many.

Preceding Lena in death were her parents, Lonnie and Letha Mora; husband, Clifton Thibodeaux; sister, Lenez Mitchell Mora; and brother, Gabe Mora.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Clifton Thibodeaux Jr. and Lonnie Thibodeaux both of Lafayette; daughter, Arcelia Holman of Many; sisters, Lera Johnson of Amarillo, Texas, Mary L. Lee of Many and Carol Mora of Zwolle; brother, Kenny Cuppernell of Amarillo, Texas; granddaughter, Elizabeth Thibodeaux; great grandchildren, Lydia Thibodeaux, Elsa Lea Thibodeaux, and Aron Dean Heard; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Connie Jordan

A funeral service celebrating the life of Connie Renay Jordan, 56 of Noble, was held July 3 at St. Ann Catholic Church. Interment followed in the St. Ann Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. Connie was born on January 11, 1963 in Zwolle to Willie Ray Sepulvado and Pearl Malmay Sepulvado, and passed away June 30, 2019 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her father; her paternal grandparents, Wesley Sepulvado and Selena Sepulvado; and her maternal grandparents, Pete Malmay and Trudie Malmay.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother; husband, Kenneth Jordan; son, Derek Jordan and wife Kristan; daughter, Savannah Jordan Anderson and husband Tyler; sisters, Sherry Henry and husband Doyle, Donna Glover and husband Jimmie, Pamela Sepulvado and husband Scott; brothers, Joseph Gary Sepulvado and wife Cheryl, Kevin Sepulvado and wife Susie; and her grandchildren, Jaden, Kraegan, and Kameron.

Annie Wyble

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Catherine “Granny” Wyble were held July 2 at Siloam Baptist Church in Many. Interment followed at Siloam Cemetery.

Catherine was born on February 16, 1926 in Citronelle, Alabama to Boyd and Alma Miller and passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at her residence in Many. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. She moved to Many in 1966 where she went to work at Piggly Wiggly as a cashier and later became manager of the video department. She remained employed at Piggly Wiggly for 30 years. Next, Catherine joined the team at Big Star as cashier and office personnel for the next 20 years. She loved working both jobs and loved her co-workers and customers dearly. Catherine would refer to her co-workers as family.

Ronald Knott

Ronald Knott, 81, of Euless, Texas passed away at his home on June 26, 2019. Funeral services were held on July 2 at the Ranch of Lonesome Dove.

Ron was born July 17, 2937 to O.B. Knott and Viola Ramshur.

Ron and his twin brother, Roland, were raised in Noble. Both graduated from Northwestern University in Natchitoches. Roland was commissioned in the USAF and Ron was commissioned in the Navy and entered the Flight School in Pensacola, Florida. Ron flew many types of jet fighters in the Navy, but the F-8 Crusader was his favorite. After seven years in the Navy Ron flew 30 years for Delta Airlines. He owned many private aircraft during this period.

Danny Ray Seegers

A memorial service celebrating the life of Danny Ray Seegers was held Friday, June 21, 2019 at 11:30 am at Bethsadia Church in Many.

Danny Seegers was born on July 21, 1961 in Shreveport. God called him home on June 13, 2019, at the age of 57.

He loved to be out in nature. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mudding, and all types of sports. He always wore a smile and helped everyone he could. The thing that was dear to his heart was being with his family and friends.

Buffy Lynn King

Memorial service for Buffy Lynn King, 51, was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA. Officiating the service was the Rev. Amador Santos, the Rev. Clinton Alford, and the Rev. David Permenter. Visitation was at the funeral home on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Buffy was born December 15, 1967 in Orange, Texas to Donald Ray King and Linda Kay King. She passed away on June 22, 2019 in Mansfield, Louisiana.

Buffy was preceded in death by her father, Donald Ray King; grandparents, Margurite Dick and Lloyd Dick; and Bruce’s grandmother, “Momo” Malmay.

Inetta Campbell

Inetta Smith Campbell, 94, died on June 17, 2019. She was born in Comanche County, Texas, on January 30, 1925. She was the oldest child of Walter W. and Fay Vancleave Smith.

Services were held at Bayou Scie United Methodist Church on June 21 with the Rev. Richard Hooton officiating. Interment followed at Bayou Scie Cemetery.

Mrs. Campbell was a graduate of Sidney High School and attended Draughon’s Business School. In 1944, she moved to Orange, Texas, where she was employed as a secretary by American Bridge Shipyard. There she met and married her husband of 61 years, Barney Campbell. Other places of employment included Orange Independent School District Tax Office, and Ramsey-Kantz, (a structural steel fabrication plant). She retired from Nelda C. and H. J. Lutcher Stark Enterprises in 1978, after 20 years of service.

William “Bill” Gillock

William Earl Gillock, 76 of Marthaville, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019, he and Emily’s 33rd Wedding Anniversary. He was born September 17, 1942, to Chester Earl Gillock and Gertrude Logsdon Gillock in Hardin County, Kentucky.

Bill retired with 30 years in the United States Air Force as an Air Force Chief during the Vietnam War, as well as touring many countries throughout his military career. He proudly served his country and was extremely honored to be a veteran. After being honorably discharged, he became an avid golfer, he truly had a passion for golf, no matter the circumstances, and he’s been known to brave the weather, once he even had to wait for the course to unfreeze before he was able to play. He loved hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.

Howard Monroe Campbell

Funeral services for Howard Campbell, 77, of Cleburne, Texas were held on Monday, June 24, 2019, at the Joshua Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Dave Tucker officiating. Burial followed in Keene Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tristan Radke, Dakota Rayburn, Robert Campbell, Brian Rayburn, Greg Radke and Jacob Campbell.

Mr. Campbell passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on April 21, 1942, the son of Ida (Vines) and George M. Campbell.

Howard and Margaret (Reed) Campbell were married on June 21, 1970 in Arlington, Texas.

He served his country in the United States Army and was a HVAC technician. Mr. Campbell was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Squire Campbell, Dahlia Vines, Richard Emanus and Huey Vines.

Thomas Litton, Jr.

Funeral services for Thomas Maurice Litton, Jr. will be held at Antioch Baptist Church in Mansfield, on June 27 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bob Latham officiating. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery in Mansfield. Family will receive friends at the church for visitation on June 26 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Thomas was born January 1, 1952 in Shreveport to Thomas Maurice Litton, Sr. and Mallie Ruth Richey. He entered into rest on June 22, 2019 in Mansfield.

Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Evans Litton; son, Jonathan Richard Litton, Sr.; his parents; and sisters, Wanda Slay and Sherry Lewis.
