As we wrap up the 2026 Allstars season a little shorter than we had hoped, it’s hard to put into words what this team has accomplished.

Twelve six-year-old boys came together wearing the name Sabine/ Louisiana across their chest and over the course of one summer they became so much more than teammates—they became brothers. They traded their summer break and vacations for countless hours of practice and competing. At six years old, that’s a big sacrifice!! But through every game, every practice, every win, and every tough loss, they showed heart, determination, and a love for the game that made all of us so proud of them.

This season wasn’t measured only by trophies or scores. It was measured by the confidence these boys gained, the friendships they built, the lessons they learned about teamwork, perseverance, and never giving up. They learned to celebrate each other’s successes, pick each other up after mistakes, and represent Sabine Parish with pride wherever they played. Those are lessons that will stay with them long after they outgrow their youth small jersey.

To my fellow coaches, thank you for investing your time, patience, and hearts into these boys with me. I couldn’t have done it without y’all. And to our parents, grandparents, families, and supporters—thank you for every early morning & late night, every hotel stay, every fundraiser, and every loud cheer from the stands. This summer may have been about baseball, but it became so much more. It became memories these boys will carry for the rest of their lives. No matter where the game takes them from here, they will always be the 2026 Sabine/ Louisiana Allstars 6U—a team that played with heart, represented their community with pride, and reminded us all that the greatest victories aren’t always the ones on the scoreboard.
