Sheriff Aaron Mitchell reports the arrest of Roger Dale Rivers, 64, of Converse this morning, February 23, 2026.
Several complaints of possible drug activity were received recently at Rivers’ residence on Lakeshore Road near Fisherman’s Wharf on Toledo Bend Lake. The Sabine Parish Sheriff Tactical Narcotics Team began an investigation and were able to obtain a search warrant for his residence.
T.N.T. Agents, along with the Sabine Parish Sheriff Special Operations Group, executed the search warrant and Rivers was taken into custody Rivers was arrested and booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center for: Warrant for l-count of Distribution of schedule II (Meth).
No bond has been set at this time.
