Hello, my name is Trenton Harvey, and I am prayerfully announcing my candidacy for Sabine Parish Police Jury, District Six. I was born and raised in the District Six area of the parish. I graduated from Zwolle High School, and moved away to attend college. As I was being promoted, I moved from store to store, finally being blessed to return to Sabine Parish in my current position as Store Director for the Spring Market in Zwolle. During my work years I have honed my skills in management, customer service, problem solving, budgeting, and team work.
In my current capacity, I interact on a daily basis with customers. I hear their concerns, understand their needs, and have listened to encouragement to run for public office. Citizens want to know that the Jury is doing its very best for them, including effective communication, planning, active representation and wise use of their taxes. I believe that I am uniquely qualified to be able to help them with their concerns. My faith is of upmost importance; I am a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 4818. I possess moral character and a strong work ethic that will serve me well in the Jury.
That’s why I am humbly asking for your vote this coming October. Should you place your trust in me, I pledge to learn all I can as quickly as possible to be able to help you with your concerns. I will listen, participate, and actively engage in all jury meetings and committees. I will work hard, advocate for the needs of District Six and all of Sabine Parish, and I will always be only a phone call away. I will be independent in my decisions, only ,making them after careful consideration of all circumstances and all information. I promise hard work, honesty, and tireless dedication.
