Sabine Parish Library will host its Summer Reading Program from June 2nd to July 13th. This year’s theme, All Together Now, promises to be full of fun for children from birth through age 12. The featured performer at the kickoff will be Elizabeth Vidos, also known as Lady Chops. She is a talented percussionist whose past work includes performing in the hit Off-Broadway show “STOMP” for 10 years as well as the New Orleans Jazz Festival. Her program titled “Drum Roll, Please” is energetic, interactive, educational, and fun for all ages as she incorporates multiple instruments including the box drum, Drum set, Cajun rubboard, and various percussion. Lady Chops will perform on Friday, June 2nd, at the Many Community Center at 10:00 a.m. followed by a second performance at 2:00 p.m. at the Toledo branch of the Sabine Parish Library.
