Wreath Across America plans wreath laying ceremony

On December 17 at 10 a.m. all are invited to a Wreath Laying Ceremony to remember our veterans. The ceremony will take place at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Many. Wreaths Across America will be delivering over 150 wreaths between now and December 16 to be placed in cemeteries in the parish. The Fort Jesup Children of America will be hosting this event. They would like to thank all that helped and encourage ALL to come out to support this worthwhile project. As stated by Ronald Reagan “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
