Ready to “shop ‘til you drop”? The 14th annual El Camino Real Sale on the Trail takes place May 6th and 7th along the historic El Camino Real de los Tejas. Follow the trail through the Caddo region which stretches from LA Hwy 6 in Natchitoches, LA through Many, LA, to TX Hwy 21 into Milam, TX, San Augustine, TX, and Nacogdoches, TX.
Along the trail, shoppers will find unique and exciting stops throughout each parish/county. Start your day in Natchitoches, LA at the Natchitoches Farmers Market on the Riverfront and shop your way through the shops on Front St.
Follow the trail and visit Fort Jesup Historic Site. Next, shop your way through downtown merchants along San Antonio Avenue in Many, LA., and numerous garage sales through Hwy 6 to the Toledo Town area where you will find 3 miles of garage sales, yard sales, and great bargains you won’t find anywhere else. On Saturday, you can enjoy music, food trucks and children’s activities in downtown Many.
Cross over beautiful Toledo Bend Lake and find Nuziebell’s Flea Market and Milam Trade Days on Hwy 21 in Milam, TX. Continue down the trail to San Augustine, TX where you will find vendors galore including a church wide garage sale at the San Augustine Catholic Church. Be sure to visit Mission Dolores Historic Site while you are in the area.
Enjoy the quaint shops along the beautiful brick streets in Nacogdoches, TX. Shop the historic downtown area filled with sidewalk sales and antique shops. Learn about the area’s history with a walking tour and guided historical downtown tour at 10am.
