The Annual Back-to-School Rally, coordinated through the Toledo Bend Resort Ministry and chaired by Mary Gore, has announced that the annual Back-to-School Rally for 2020 has been cancelled. Leaders with the rally decided that the large gathering would be impossible with Covid-19 restrictions.
Gore has chaired the annual school supply give-a-away for a number of years with area volunteers serving on her committee.
The Rally, which was hosted in early August, prior to schools opening, has been a large part of the community. Students, from Pre-K through high school, have taken advantage of the free supplies, which had been donated by area churches and through donations from the community.
