The Toledo Bend Lake Association (TBLA) awarded 39 Lunker Replicas to anglers on Saturday, July 25, at Cypress Bend Resort. Dinah Medine, coordinator of the TBLA Lunker Bass Program, presented the replicas to the anglers, along with TBLA president Ricky Yeldell and taxidermist Scottie Lucas. This event is traditionally held at the close of the Sealy Big Bass Splash, but due to Covid was rescheduled for social distancing.

All fish caught and registered through the program are tagged and returned to the lake to spawn and be caught again. The TBLA Lunker Bass Program is the signature conservation program among many projects sponsored by the Association to meet its mission: “to improve the quality of Toledo Bend Lake and the amenities surrounding it.”
