Kristi Leach took this picture on September 23 at 8:15 a.m.in the drive-thru at Walgreens in Many.
The owl just sat there as she drove up to the window.
She posted a picture to Facebook and a local citizen got in touch with the vets, who were in surgery. The sheriff’s office contacted the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, as it may have been hurt.
Kristi states that she isn’t sure what the final outcome was, but she though the occurrence was rather beautiful and interesting.
