Alma Ross Edwards of Many celebrated a milestone in anyone’s life on February 21; that of reaching her 106th birthday.
Friends, family, and the many she influenced over the years gathered at Sabine Retirement and Rehabilitation Center. Family and well-wishers traveled from as far as Colorado for the event. Locally, relatives such as beloved grandson Beau Ross and his father, Mike, were there. Others in attendance included, but were not limited to Freddie Grappe and the Patriot Guard riders, Katie Lombarino and Shirley Salley of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the caretakers of her living facility, and those whose life she has touched in any number of ways.
