When Mythbusters premiered over a decade ago, its brand of science and engineering mixed with entertaining urban legends inspired multitudes to think logically. Now, Brian Louden wants to do exactly that for an entirely new generation, and gets his chance during the finals of “Mythbusters: The Search” on the Science Channel this weekend.
For Louden, the show has fed his addiction to knowledge and learning. After high school he quickly worked his way up to paramedic before attending college to earn a biology degree. From “body farm” to oilfield, jobs were varied and always interesting.
When the oilfield took a downturn, Louden found himself in Louisiana, but loved the freedom he encountered, especially after simplifying his life by moving into a travel trailer.
