For the 17th consecutive year, the Sabine Parish Players (SPP) will present “A Christmas Carol,” by Charles Dickens. Director Mary Bozeman is pleased that the cast this year includes four talented newcomers: Sussette Housel, Samuel Reed Lane, and Anne and Victoria Lane. As Scrooge, the multi-talented Jim Hyde, who has delighted audiences in the role in recent years will once again be a welcome presence. Some veteran members of the SPP, all of whom have played their roles for years: Versatile Chuck Boudreaux as Bob Cratchit and the Ghost of Jacob Marley, plus Suzanne J. Ammons as the Spirit of Christmas Future, Vicki Weaver as the Spirit of Christmas Present, and Peggy Crittenden as the Spirit of Christmas Past. Ms. Bozeman is particularly delighted to again have the marvelously talented actor Dean Crittenden as one of the narrator.
