Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne is announcing Hodges Gardens State Park as the newest addition to the National Register of Historic Places. The designation puts the State Park among a list of more than 90,000 sites nationwide and nearly 1,400 sites in Louisiana to receive the highest national award of distinction be-stowed upon historic properties.
