After serving honorably for six years, Choctaw-Apache Tribe of Ebarb’s Chief John Procell resigned his position in March, due to health reasons. Named to replace Chief Procell was his vice chairman of the tribe, Jason “Jake” Rivers. The appointment, made at a Council meeting, designated Rivers as the interim chief to fill the remaining term of Chief Procell.
