Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a man from Noble on May 1, for first degree rape of a juvenile and other serious charges.
Tyler Delane Weathy, 29, was arrested at his home on Solan Camp Road in Noble, for violating: One count - First Degree Rape; Four Counts - Indecent Behavior with Juveniles; Three counts - Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of 13; and Three counts - Sexual Abuse of Animals
Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. When LBI agents started working on the case, they became concerned that this might have been a hands-on incident. Through joint collaboration with local law enforcement partners, agents were eventually able to get Wealthy in custody at his home. During the course of our investigation, agents were able to obtain a confession from the suspect that he had raped a juvenile.
This arrest was the result of a joint investigation with General Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office, Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office and the LA Department of Wildlife and Fisheries “Huge shoutout to my agents with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office, Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, and all our partners across the State who work day and night to take monsters off the street. If you hurt our kids, Louisiana will find you,” said Attorney General Murrill.
Weathy was booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center.
