The Sabine 6U All-Stars, a mighty group of twelve five-, six-, and seven-year-old girls from across Sabine Parish, came together at the end of May with one mission: to proudly represent their hometown on the field— and they did just that in spectacular fashion.
Their season began in Minden, where they competed at the regional level and earned a strong 2nd place finish. That performance launched them into the Louisiana State Tournament, where they continued to shine and were named Louisiana 6U Runner-Ups. With this achievement, they earned a coveted spot in the 2025 Diamond Youth World Series in Tioga.
Over the course of five hot and humid days, these young athletes showcased true grit and heart. Wednesday was filled with pin trading, team bonding, and celebrations. Then, the real work began.
On Thursday, the team went undefeated in pool play, making a bold statement from the start. Bracket play kicked off on Friday, where they powered through both games—despite weather delays—with unstoppaby ble momentum. Saturday brought another big win, punching their ticket to the Championship Game on Sunday afternoon.
Facing off against a tough Tennessee team, Sabine came out swinging— scoring 11 runs and holding Tennessee to just 1—to claim the title of 2025 Diamond Youth 6U World Series Champions with an undefeated tournament run.
