An enthusiastic group of 26 students and 8 faculty mentors from Northwestern State Uni versity attended the 14th Annual University of Louisiana System Aca demic Summit, hosted by Nicholls State University in Thibodaux April 10-11.
The Academic Sum mit brings together all nine universities within the UL System for a year ly celebration of exempla ry applied learning. This multidisciplinary event fosters collaboration and exploration across di verse fields, including the arts, sciences, business and industry, health sci ences, human behavior, engineering technolo gy, social sciences and humanities. Through poster presentations, art exhibitions, stage per formances, and oral pre sentations, students have the opportunity to en gage with and learn from a wide range of academic disciplines.
Undergraduate par ticipants were nominated by their faculty mentors and selected to represent NSU based on the excel lence of their research, service initiatives, and creative or performing arts projects.
