Northwestern State University’s announced the names of 756 students named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2025 semester. Students on the Dean’s List must be enrolled full time and earn a grade point average of between 3.5 and 3.99.

Pick Up Your Brush Painting class to be held in July
Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic Learning and Global Education will offer a Pick Up Your Brush painting class on July 3, 10 and 17 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the second floor of South Hall. The fee is $45.
In the class, participants will learn the art of painting using stepby- step instructions to create a masterpiece. Students will take home a completed painting at the end of the class. On July 3, the painting will be titled “Summer Lake Days.” Those in the July 10 class will paint “Longhorn.” On July 17, the painting will be titled “Southern Magnolia.” No special or prior skills are required. Children ages 7 – 12 years old are allowed to enroll, but a parent must accompany the child during the entire class.
Parents do not have to enroll unless they take part. All supplies are included.
