Sheriff Aaron Mitchell reports the arrest of Yancy Elie Normand (age-52) of Noble, on June 20.
Sabine Parish Sheriff ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Task Force Detectives received a tip alleging Normand had forced someone to view child pornography or CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material).
Detectives obtained a search warrant for Normand’s residence in which several electronic devices and two hand-crafted sex dolls resembling juvenile females were seized.
Search warrants of Normand’s devices led to the discovery of over two-hundred illegal files, both CSAM and Bestiality.
Sheriff Mitchell wants to express just how vital these tips can be in an investigation. Detectives will aggressively investigate any activity concerning child exploitation.
Normand was booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center for:
--2-counts of LRS 14:81.6 Possessing a Child Sex Doll (Felony); --2-counts of LRS 14:81.1 Pornography Involving Juveniles (Felony); --77-counts of LRS 14:81.1 Pornography Involving Juveniles (Felony); and --157-counts of LRS 14:89.3A (7) Sexual Abuse of an Animal (Felony).
Normand remains in custody with a total bond of $1,300,000.
