On March 27, deputies patrolling on Potters Road in Acadia Parish observed a vehicle which was suspicious. Upon further investigation, the deputy observed an individual running the crawfish traps in the field. Continuing his investigation, the deputy was able to determine that the individual was not employed by the land owner nor had permission to harvest the crawfish.

Brandon Miller, 31 of Many, Louisiana was arrested for one count of felony theft and one count of criminal respassing. He has been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.
