Local 4-H clubs in competition

A competition between 4-H school clubs throughout Sabine Parish is underway according to Nan Arthur, 4-H Agent for Sabine Parish. Club members are continuing to collect unperishable food for the backpack project and items for the Ronald McDonald House in Monroe.

Tigers tackle wildcats, turn eyes to Super Dome

Those mighty Many High School Tigers find themselves one game away from the superdome after winning two playoff  games over the past two weeks against Lake Arthur and St. James. Lake Arthur entered their playoff game as the 16th seed in the LHSAA Class 2A football playoff against the top seed Tigers and saw their season ended by only putting up six points to the Tigers’ 41.

Tigers rout Pelicans, set sights on Lake Arthur

The Many Tigers moved to 11-0 on Nov. 14 by completely routing the Homer Pelicans 73-0 in the first round of the Class 2A
playoffs. With the Many Tigers win in the first round, they move through to the second round and will face the Lake Arthur Tigers on Nov. 21 at home.

Robertson named Iron Man
