The Many Tigers baseball shut out the Lakeview Gators twice on April 5 during a road trip double header.
The Tigers came out swinging in the first game, scoring 18 runs over three innings, with 11 coming in the second, with Parker Founds, Trey Jones, Peyton Fredieu, Brock Booker, Tyler Rawls, and Caleb leach getting RBIs. Founds and Nick Slaydon led the team in RBIs, with three apiece.
Booker was on the mound for the Tigers, going two innings while allowing only one hit. He struck out five and walked nobody. Slaydon pitched one inning as relief.
The Tigers continued into the second game, which was won 16-0.
Founds had an impressive game, as he went three-for-four at the plate while driving in runs on a triple in the third and single in the fourth.
Singles by Josh Carroll, Jones, Fredieu, and founds punctuated the massive scoring drive. Brady Meshell also laid claim to a double.
