The Ebarb Lady Rebels dealt an “L” to Negreet on April 9 before fighting back valiantly against the Evans Lady Eagles several days later.
The Lady Rebels got things going in the first with Raeghan Lewing singling and scoring one run.
Negreet tied things up in the bottom of the first inning when #99 singled for an RBI.
Things really changed in the third inning, when the Lady Rebels saw Kaylyn Sepulvado scoring one run, while Lewing also singled and scored one. An error allowed an additional player to cross the plate.
Later, in the sixth inning, the Rebels would see Autumn Wyatt, Kaylyn Sepulvado, Lewing, and Kiana Phathong get RBIs. Kirstan Malmay had four stolen bases over the course of the game.
Ebarb was on the mound and allowed three hits and two runs over six innings with three strikeouts.
The team didn’t do as well against Evans on April 10, as they fought valiantly but were defeated 9-7.
