Marthaville Gators named 2016 league champions

It has always been said that “big things come in small packages,” but this baseball season brought more meaning to this statement. The Marthaville Gators moved up from TBALL age division to 8-10 Coach Pitch. This brought on new challenges to these determined young men. Transitioning to an older age group usually takes a year or two to adjust. Success doesn’t come as easy, and winning is usually out of the question.  Big change considering most of these players haven’t lost a game in two and a half years. Ten of the players were eight or younger, and two were ten year olds. Practice began in March and off to work they went.
