Darrell Faye Eaves

Funeral services for Darrell Faye Eaves, 64, of Many, were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013 at Union Baptist  Church. Burial followed in the Belmont Cemetery. Visitation was at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Darrell Faye Eaves was born on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 1949, in Texas. She passed away on  Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at River Side Hospital Of Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell  arnado
and Joan Eaves; husband, Dewey G. Eaves, Sr.; brother, Lanny Varnado; sister, Sharron Varnado; and stepmother, Dora Mae Varnado. She is survived by her son, Dewey G. Eaves, Jr. of Zwolle; sisters: Judy Pierce of Baytown, Texas, Sandra Williams of Kountze, Texas, Polly McElvin of Fred, Texas, and Mary Ellen Olds of Jasper, Texas; brothers: Ronnie Eaves of Beaumont, Texas, Donnie Eaves of Beaumont, Texas, and Dale Eaves of Beaumont, Texas; along with a host of nieces,

Services for Ms. Floy Jordan, 98, of Leesville, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel
in Leesville. Visitation began at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013. Ms. Jordan went to be with the Lord on Nov. 26, 2013, and was born Aug. 20, 1915, to Alvin and Lela Sandell in Hornbeck. Ms. Jordan was of the Baptist faith and a member of Pisgah Baptist Church. She was a beautician for many years and was very active at The Woodlands Healthcare Facility. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her. Ms. Jordan is preceded in death by her parents: Alvin Sandell and Lela Curtis Sandell; husband: Odie Jordan; one sister and seven brothers. Ms. Jordan is  survived by step-sons: Harold Jordan and Billy Jordan; step-daughters: Shirley Veuleman and Truey Flennigan; brothers: Chris Sandell and Talmadge Sandell; sisters: Lela Mae Evans, Una Lea Savell and Veral Hutchison. Arthur Glynn Greer

Graveside service for Arthur Glynn Greer, 72, were held Saturday,  Nov. 30, 2013 at Spring Ridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill with the Rev. Logan Brock officiating. The family received friends at Rose- Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013. Arthur was born in Pleasant Hill to Arthur and Letha Smith Greer and passed away in  Pleasant Hill. He enjoyed his horses and working his farm. Arthur was preceded in death by his son Ronny Greer; and  parents Arthur and Letha Smith Greer. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Janell Harrison Greer; sons  Donny Greer and wife Shelley and Arthur L. Bessie Laverna Burkett Wood

Bessie Laverna Burkett Wood passed away Nov. 12, 2013, in Plano, Texas. She was born July 12, 1934, to Julius Jefferson Burkett and Marguerite Alton Morgan Burkett in Converse. She was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Lynn Wood, and is survived by son Daniel Allen Wood of Plano, Texas, sister Shirley Marguerite Burkett Stoker of  Shreveport, brother Julius Morgan Burkett of Nacogdoches, Texas and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Bessie was a graduate of Northwestern State College School of Nursing and practiced as a registered nurse, giving tender care to the sick and elderly in clinics, hospitals and nursing homes. Dennis L. “Yo Yo” Moore passed away peacefully and went to be with his Lord on Oct. 8, 2013 in Zwolle at the age of 69
-years-old. Moore was born in Boston, Mass. on April 18, 1944. He was preceded in death by his parents, Livingston
and Frances Moore, his sister, DeeDee Moore and his brother, Peter Prime. Lovingly remembered by and left to cherish Moore’s memory is his special friend and caregiver of 17 and a half years, Brenda Melancon; and brothers,  Michael Phillips of Branson, Mo., and Kevin Moore of Florida. “I little knew that morning, God was going to call your name.

Ronald Paul Rachal

Ronald Paul Rachal passed away Nov. 7, 2013, at the age of 64. He was a former resident of Many and Beaumont, Texas. Ronnie served in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam veteran. He worked as a plumber. Ronnie was preceded in death by his father Paul I. Rachal and is survived by his son, Justin Rachal; mother, Katie Rains Rachal; sister, Melanie Barrett and brothers, Michael and Phillip Rachal. Private family services will be held.
