Robert Gene Lockman, 79, of Many entered into eternal rest on April 22, 2015 at Cornerstone Hospital in Bossier City. He was born on Dec. 25, 1936 in Ottumwa, Iowa. Robert was a machine operator for Caterpillar for several years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Kinsler Lockman and parents Pansy Sainer Lockman and Forest Lockman. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Brian Lockman, Rodney Lockman and Marc Lockman; sister, Betty Graham; grandchildren, Steven, Jacob, Linda and Zachary; special friend, Christel McLain and a  host of friends. Mrs. Annie Mae Calsbeek

Mrs. Annie Mae Calsbeek, 92, formerly of Orange City, Iowa, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015, at the Nazareth Health and Rehabilitation Cen-ter in Stoughton, Wis. There was a celebration of her life on April 21 at the First Reformed Church Chapel in Orange City, Iowa. The Rev. Mark Haverdink officiated. Interment followed at the West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City, Iowa.Arrangements were with the Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City, Iowa.Annie Mae was born on Sept. 6, 1922, in Leesville, the daughter of George Edward and Annie Elizabeth McCollister Jordan. She was raised in the “Red Lands” of Louisiana, where she graduated from high school. She also graduated from a business college in Shreveport.She met Gerald Simon Calsbeek while he was stationed at Fort Polk. They married on April 14, 1946, in Leesville. They made their home and raised their family in Orange City, Iowa where she was a homemaker.

Hulan Arnold

Hulan E. Arnold, 83, entered into rest at his home on April 16, 2015. He was born in Columbus on Aug. 29, 1931 to the late Enoch Castle “Bud” and Beulah Mae Er-win Arnold. He was the eighth of nine children. He was preceded in death by siblings, Gracie Al-lison, James L. Arnold, Harold Arnold, Geraldine Pelanconi, William H. Arnold, Jeanette An-drus, Betty Moseley, and Joseph C. Arnold. He leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews. Hulan attended school at Negreet. He enlisted in the mili-tary on Oct. 12, 1948, with the written consent of his parents. Because of the start of the Kore-an War, his tour of duty in Guam was extended at the convenience of the government. He received an Honorable Discharge from the army at Fort Eustis, Va. on June 24, 1952. Hulan lived and worked in California for a number of years before returning home. He spent his childhood years and most of his adult life near Boone’s Land-ing. He worked for 22 years at Boise Cascade until retirement.

Alan Brent Hennigan

Celebration of life service for Alan Brent Hennigan was held on April 11 at The Pentecostals of Bossier City. The Rev. Jerry Dean, Pastor, officiated the service, assisted by the Rev. Roger Hennigan. Graveside service followed at Lambert Town Cemetery in Robeline. Alan was a faithful member of The Pentecostals of Bossier City. Everyone who knew him knew he loved helping and caring  for people of all ages. He also had a great love for missions and assisted in building several churches overseas. Alan also enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, gardening, reading, scuba diving and teaching his grandchildren.   He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde L. Hennigan, Maudie Williams Hennigan, Page L. Quinn and Ola Waters Quinn. Alan is survived by his parents, the Rev. Rudolph B.

Carl Ellis Evans

Carl Ellis Evans was born in Florien on Jan. 6, 1943. He went home to be with the Lord on April 9, 2015. Carl was an ordained Baptist preacher, and a Mason. He also worked for the State of Louisiana, and as a Compactor Operator at the Site on Hwy. 191 South. Carl was preceded in death by his parents Clarence “Roy” and Lola Evans; brothers Ernest,
Hardy “Buddy,” Travis Leroy and two infants born deceased and the first wife, Maude G. Evans, and his second wife, Kay Evans. He is survived by his sister, Ernestine Belsha; brother Earl Evans and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, greatnephews and cousins. A memorial service willbe held on April 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Clearwater Cemetery 
church building in Florien. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Clearwater Cemetary (family cemetery) payable to Treasurer Ernestine Belsha, 552 Lakeside Loop, Florien, LA 71429.
