Logan, Briscoe walk away with tournament honors

Article Image Alt Text

Dale Logan and Kerney Briscoe walked away on Saturday, Jan. 31 with the majority of the money and honors at our first tournament of 2015 on Toledo Bend. They took first place team with 18.99 pounds. Logan was also the individual point winner with 18.79 pounds, and won the Big Bass pot with a healthy 8.80 pound toad. Sonny Hargrave fished solo and took home second place team winnings, and John Gillard and Randy Pennington were the third place team. Hargrave was also second place individual, and Lionel Dugas was third individually. 17 members and 1 guest launched into chilly, but very favorable weather conditions which prevailed throughout the day. Even so, it was a tough bite for most contestants as only 4 full individual limits of fish were brought to the scales. All fish were released in attempt to perpetuate our great Toledo Bend resource.
