My four-year-old grandson, Braeden, started Pre-K this school year in Zachary. The first week was great, except for Friday, when he forlornly got off the bus. He told his mother that he wasn’t going back to school because he couldn’t act right. “I just can’t be good,” he said, sadly shaking his head. Apparently each child starts on green every day on the behavior chart. If they are very good, they are elevated to orange. Well, Braeden had been orange all week, except for Friday. He wasn’t listening to the teacher, so he stayed on green, much to his dismay.
