Festival organizers are so excited to unveil this year’s Tamale Fiesta T-shirts! They have four great designs, and each one has a special story behind it.
The first shirt is inspired by this year’s beautiful Fiesta poster, created by talented local artist, Shanna Dees Gaspard.
Shanna did such a beautiful job, and we wanted to create a T-shirt inspired by her artwork.
They also want to give a very special thank you to sponsors Nichols, Josh Crow Physical Therapy, and Toledo Fitness for helping with the cost of these shirts.
This poster-inspired shirt is available in adult sizes S through 3X.
The second design is the Tamale Man shirt, in a beautiful burnt-orange color. It is available in adult sizes S through 4X.
The group wants to give a special thank you to sponsors Rivers Builders Supply and Interstate Building Materials for helping make this shirt possible.
This shirt is all about what the Tamale Fiesta— and the Zwolle-Ebarb community—are all about: Faith, Family, and Tradition.
The front features tamales and the words Faith, Family, and Tradition. The design was inspired by a beautiful painting by Frank Brown that was given to Cindy Ezernack.
The back of the shirt brings together many of the things that make our community so special— from our Fiesta, Indian heritage and logging history to our love of the outdoors. It also features the bell tower of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Ann’s Church in Ebarb. Since Ebarb High School is celebrating 100 years this year, they were especially proud to include St. Ann’s Church in the design. And, of course, they had to include the Zwolle welcome sign, which sponsor Kyle Martinez helped design.
The third shirt is a first for the Tamale Fiesta!
The Fiesta has never offered a ¾-sleeve shirt, but thought their 50th Anniversary was the perfect time to try something new!
They offer a special thank you to VFW Post 5186 of Zwolle for helping with the cost of these shirts.
This design is especially meaningful. Inside the 50, you will find images from many of the Fiesta posters used throughout the years.
This design took many, many hours to create. In fact, they started working on it all the way back in December!

Finally, we have our Youth T-Shirt!
This shirt is available in youth sizes S through L and will be available exclusively at Sabine State Bank in Zwolle.
They are so happy to have a special shirt for our younger Fiesta fans!
