Two local festivals had an extremely successful weekend at the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals Convention.
The Battle of Pleasant Hill won an award for Best Website, while Corey Calhoun was sworn in as LAFF Dist. 5 Director and Katelyn Calhoun was elected LAFF Vice President.
Emma Rose McElwee, currently serving as Louisiana Cotton Queen, received Miss Congeniality at the associated LAFF Pageant.
