On July 2, Mitchell Baptist Church was presented with their award for serving five years as an Operation Christmas Child drop-off location in Sabine Parish. The OCC ministry uses simple gift filled shoeboxes to reach children around the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This year’s national shoebox collection week is set for November 13-20.
