Preschoolers across Sabine Parish continue to meet their goals in listening to stories. The children logged 1300 books during the month of February alone! Listening to stories is an important skill in preparing to learn to read. Come join the program at any branch of the Sabine Parish Library and start earning prizes simply by reading to your children!
Completing 1000 books was Kase Jones, son of Brandon and Regan Jones of Many; Grant Barnhill, son of Ryan and Ashley Barnhill of Many; and Hayden Graves, daughter of Emily Rainer and Tristan Graves of Many. Beginning the program by completing 100 books were the sons of Justin and Caitlyn Akers, Wade and Waylon, of Many.
