Sabine Parish School Superintendent Shane Wright and Human Resources Coordinator at the Sabine School Board Office Tene’ Leach distributed storybooks to children attending the attending the Rally. Between 2501300 books were given away.
Matthew Couvillion, center, is shown addressing the crowd of several hundred at the Sabine Backto- School Rally. He gave an inspiring speech, laced with challenges, humor and advice. Needless to say, Couvillion held their attention.
Discussing the attendance at the Back-to-School Rally were the Rev. Jerome Newsome, New Jerusalem Baptist Church, School Superintendent Shane Wright, James Wagley of Sabine Prevention Alliance and Michael Cutwright, a testimonial speaker and provider of gospel music at the Rally.
