The 10th annual Choctaw Apache Bass Bash Tournament will be held on March 12. Foy Motors of Many will pay $500 to the person weighing in the largest bass the day of the tournament. Representatives from Foy’s will be present. The top ten places are recognized with the top five receiving cash prizes.
The tournament begins at Sunrise and the weighin is at 3 p.m. at Rebecca’s Landing on Hwy 191.
Applications and a list of the rules can be picked up at the tribal office or Chesters Grocery. The tribe will offer for sale hot link and sausage poboys, pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, grilled chicken, chicken salad sandwiches, Turkey legs, drinks and homemade cakes. The food will be available by 10 a.m..
