Many Junior High was selected to receive the ExxonMobil 2020 Educational Alliance Grant.

It is funded by ExxonMobil and provided by Lott Oil & the Corner Market Exxon of Many. The $500 grant is intended to be used to focus on improvements in math and science.

The funds were used to purchase STEM related eBooks to add to the school library. The digital books are available around the clock through the online library to all MJHS students, including those attending school virtually. In this way, the school can ensure the students have access to quality, educational books anytime, anywhere. The titles purchased are recently published and are all supported by the Accelerated Reader program. This allows students to improve their knowledge in math and science on a variety of topics and to test themselves for understanding by taking the AR quiz. The grant allows the school to purchase 21 eBooks, with over half of them available for multi-user checkouts, meaning every student on campus has access to them at the same time. One of the biggest advantages of this grant is that the books are available to all MJH students and therefore will have the biggest opportunity for improvement school wide. Topics range from STEM-based careers, technology in medicine, robotics, transportation, energy, cybercrime, engineering, weather, space, and much more.
