The Town of Many recently applied for and received a grant from State Farm Insurance Good Neighbor Citizenship® Company Grants. The Many Police Department needed new protective equipment and a grant was written to help pay for items that would protect officers on a day-to-day basis.
Newly appointed Police Chief Cheryl Wooley was delighted when she received the news that the grant was funded for $5,000. “I am pleased and excited to know that we were beneficiaries of this grant. We are in the process of updating our equipment and technology to make our police department state-of-theart.”
