Congratulations are in order to Sabine Parish’s 2020-2021 Students of the Year. Being named as such and headed to represent our district at the regional levels are fifth grader Jensen Ebarb of Zwolle Elementary School, eighth grader Kierstyn Williams of Many Junior High School, and 12th grader Emma McElwee of Many High School.
The Students of the Year Awards Program is designed to recognize outstanding elementary, middle, and high school programs. It is patterned after the Teachers of the Year program and stands as an excellent opportunity to recognize students who have demonstrated excellent academic achievement, leadership abilities, and citizenship.
In order to be selected as a Student of the Year, the student must earn a cumulative 3.1 grade point average and be enrolled in grades five, eight, or twelve.
