Rep. Johnson announces $5 million for damaged roads

U.S. Representative Mike Johnson (LA-04) announced on September 4 that the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is receiving $5 million in emergency relief to restore the flow of transportation in the state due to the damage from Tropical Storm Marco and Hurricane Laura.

Funds will be used to make emergency repairs needed to restore essential traffic, minimize the extent of the damage, and make permanent repairs necessary to restore eligible highways to their pre-disaster condition.
