Cleco’s latest update on power restoration

As of 8:45 a.m. on Monday, August 31, power has been restored to over 81,o o o customers, or 58 percent, of the 140,000 customers affected by Hurricane Laura, one of the most powerful storms to hit Louisiana since 1856.

Locally, there are still 2,998 without power in Sabine, 646 without in Natchitoches, 5,685 in Vernon, and 466 in Desoto Parish.
