State Representative Rodney Schamerhorn in conjunction with the Sabine Tourism Commission and the Sabine Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a farewell reception for Frank A. Howard. “Frankie,” as he was known to many, began his career as the city marshall in Hornbeck at the age of 21. Later he served as the Vernon Parish Sheriff for 24 years and the District 24 State Representative for 12 years.
