The Leaders Against Litter Committee (LAL) has completed another year of working to Keep Sabine Clean! This past year the Committee completed the education of all Sabine Parish school kids in grades K-5, talking to the kids about how litter presents health and environmental, threatens wildlife, and, based on the Parish Litter Ordinance, can result in significant fines.

The Committee also organized a Spring and Fall Trash Bash, encouraging Parish residents to get out and pick up trash. Adults and youth groups, alike, participated, selecting their neighborhood roads and highways, bringing these areas back to the inherent beauty of our parish.
