Warren Meadows observance assists grieving families during holiday season

The annual Memorial Tree of Remembrance ceremony at Warren Meadows has become a yearly tradition that has helped thousands of grieving families who were missing loved ones lost over the past year. Pictured from left are the Rev. Kenneth Leach Sr., Susan Giblin, Amy Giblin Barnhill, Benny Barnhill, and the Rev. Wilton Anthony.

The 32nd annual Memorial Tree of Remembrance was hosted at Warren Meadows Funeral Home on Thursday, December 12.

The annual event shows that the Warren Meadows Funeral Home family remembers each and every family served during the past year and grieves along with them.

Susan and Floyd Giblin began the beautiful program in 1987. Each year, a Christmas tree is decorated with ornaments, which includes the person’s name and date of death inscribed on them. Every person served by the funeral home is remembered with an ornament, that are distributed at the end of a service of remembrance.
